David Herman
As an elite tennis player Dave Herman earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina College of Health. He began his career in the early 90’s as Director of Strength and Conditioning at Saddlebrook’s Harry Hopman Tennis Academy. In the mid ninety’s Dave relocated to direct Sport Science Programs at Lake Nona’s legendary LGE (Loehr, Gropple, Etcheberry) Performance Center. He also worked in association as the head golf fitness professional for the David Leadbetter Golf Academy before launching his own successful business in 2000. Also In 2000 along with Ernie Els, Dave co-authored “The Ernie Els’ Guide to Golf Fitness”.
A pioneer in Golf Fitness
David Herman has helped players to achieve multiple Men’s Major Championships, Multiple Women’s Major Championships, PGA tour Rookie of the Year, LPGA tour Rookie of the Year, Youngest player to ever earn a PGA tour card and many PGA and LPGA tour victory’s.
In 2018, 2020, and 2022 Dave was named Top 50 Best Golf Fitness Professionals in America. The List which is the first of its kind by a fitness or golf media company—was compiled by Golf Digest’s expert panel of trainers, chiropractors, physical therapists, and doctors.

Ernie Els, Trevor Immelman, Gary Woodland, Skip Kendall, Rob Oppenheim, Sandra Gal, Se Ri Pak, Sun Young Yoo, Yani Tseng, Ariya Jutanugarn, Moriya Jutanugarn, XI Yu Lin, and Suzann Pettersen.
In Tennis he has helped players to achieve multiple Wimbledon, US Open, Australian Open and French Open Championships. Dave has trained 18 X Grand Slam winner Leander Paes for the past 26 years and has helped Leander achieve his record breaking 7th Olympic games.

Evaluating, designing, training, and implementing sport specific performance programs for professional athletes and junior athletes. He has trained hundreds of professionals in many sports including, football, hockey, baseball, basketball, tennis and golf. His clientele list includes an array of the most-notable sport professionals, elite junior athletes as well as celebrities and executives. In 2008, while working with Dave, Trevor Immelman won the Masters and helped Dave to create and design a revolutionary resistance band training golf program that was internationally released at the PGA Show.
In 2014, Dave opened a new training facility Dave Herman Performance where he trains both residents of Central Florida and visiting world-class athletes. David designs programming specific to each clients goals using his proven ATHLETICITY™ methodology which utilizes his 12 Performance Training Techniques. Dave continues to research, design and test new SuperFlex products with his elite athletes and fitness enthusiasts at his training facility located in Winter Garden, FL
